The short version
We run a content website. We don’t sell your data, we don’t require accounts, and we collect the minimum needed to understand how the site is used and to keep it running. Questions: hello@2localseo.com.
What we collect
Automatically (like nearly all websites):
- Analytics. We use privacy-focused, aggregate analytics (no cross-site tracking, no personal profiles). Data includes pages viewed, approximate region, referrer, device type, and time on page. It is not used to identify you.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request data (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention, retained for a limited period.
- Advertising cookies. If and when ads are shown via Google AdSense, Google and its partners may set cookies to serve and measure ads, and (with your consent where required) to personalize them. You can review and control Google ad settings at Google’s “Ad Settings” pages and opt out of personalized advertising via your browser or network advertising initiative choices.
Only if you contact us: the email you send and anything in it. We use it to reply and keep records of editorial corrections; we don’t add you to any list without asking.
What we don’t do: no accounts, no newsletter sign-up forms selling data, no selling or renting personal data, no behavioral profiles built by us.

Where the law requires consent for non-essential cookies, that consent is requested before they’re set. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals to the extent required by applicable law.
Your rights (GDPR / CCPA and similar)
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port personal data concerning you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Since we hold almost nothing identifiable (see above), the practical route for any request is hello@2localseo.com — we respond within the statutory windows. California residents: we do not “sell” or “share” personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA.
Third-party services
- Hosting: our web host (processes requests, keeps server logs).
- Analytics provider: aggregate measurement as described above.
- Google AdSense (when ads are live): ad serving and measurement under Google’s policies — see Google’s own privacy disclosures.
Links to external sites (Google documentation, studies, tools) are governed by those sites’ policies, not ours.
Children
The site is directed at business adults and is not intended for children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA/UK). We don’t knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We’ll update this page when practices change and revise the “last updated” date. Material changes (e.g., enabling personalized advertising) will be reflected here before or when they take effect.
